Pricing depends mainly on the following, in this order:
-How big is it? (square inches)
-How much detail
-Where on your body is it going?
-If you’re active duty or a current student, you should mention that.
Prices are generally given on a flat-fee basis. Changes to the design after receiving a quote may change the price accordingly. The best way to answer your questions is to book a consultation
If you’re flexible, consider asking your artist how much it would cost to book a day and seeing how much you can get done in a sitting, or ask for an hourly rate.
If you’re more monetarily-challenged, ask your artist about splitting your design into multiple sessions or making pre-payments to fit your budget.
At the moment we are appointment-only. We manage our schedules to focus on you when it’s your turn.
Everyone experiences pain differently, and pain sensitivity varies across the body. It’s doubtful you’ve lived your entire life without being injured — you’re probably acquainted with pain. What’s more important is your personal tolerance for pain.
From experience, most clients find it’s less painful than they thought. Many liken the sensation to a cat scratch.
If you have no previous experience being tattooed, and you’re unsure of how you’ll respond to pain, consider starting with a less detailed design.
We use sterile, individually packaged, disposable equipment. Nothing penetrating your skin is used on another client. All equipment is barriered to avoid contamination and subjected to hospital-grade disinfectant between clients. We take your health seriously.
Yes, and yes.

16 is the youngest we will accept. Let your skin breathe a little.
Yes, however the time from consultation to your tattoo appointment will likely be longer. We draw for many clients, and the creative process is partly spontaneous. A design review can be scheduled by your artist. Please mention it during consultation to avoid a scheduling delay.
Yes. Bring only one unless you’re getting tattoos as a group. Additional visitors must wait outside the tattooing area.
It’s up to you. We’re vaxxed and wear masks while we perform work on you.
We’d prefer to do it in person. It’s free, and sometimes details get lost over the phone.
Let your artist know at least a day ahead of time. You can avoid forfeiting a deposit if you reschedule.
We’ve been here since August 2021. Prior to this, you may have been tattooed by one of us or seen us working the front desk in Manassas or Falls Church.
