I’ve always felt fortunate that I was born into an artistic family. My paternal grandparents were musicians and teachers who ran a small business selling instruments. All ten of their children formed a family band at home. And my maternal grandparents were running their own business tailoring and sculpting. It wasn’t a surprise that my future would lead me to something familiar.

Over two decades later and after undertaking several art and design positions, my better half and I are actively actualizing our dreams of being independent from stifling and biased art direction and having autonomy within our crafts. Under our belts, we’ve amassed countless toolkits for creation. Among them are:

  • The Thinking Cap for brainstorming and conceptualizing
  • The Army Knife for various tightening of loose ends, bug fixes and troubleshooting snags
  • The Survival Guide for keeping our skill sets and heads above water
  • The Pocket Guides for Degrees in Fine Arts, Liberal Arts and Performance Arts throwback knowledge and references
  • The User Manual guides of compiled software applications we’ve acquired along the way
  • The Color Wheel for obvious reasons
  • And much more!

Factor.Studio may be a small, humble abode for now. But it’s our Field of Dreams, And we’ll keep building it as they steadily come. Welcome all curious visitors and passersby who are looking for something different, but understood; unique, yet respected; rebellious and still meaningful.
