I’ve always felt fortunate that I was born into an artistic family. My paternal I grew up in a creative family. Music, tailoring, sculpture. Art wasn’t something special we did on weekends. It was just part of life.
I earned a BFA in Fine Arts and later worked in graphic design and account management before spending over a decade teaching art. That experience shaped how I approach tattooing now. I’m used to talking through ideas, adjusting on the fly, and helping people feel comfortable asking questions.
I’m drawn to illustrative work, character-based designs, script, and structured tribal pieces. I like projects that feel expressive but still balanced. Even playful designs need intention behind them.
